biotechrabbit™ RPA Exo Mix is a lyophilized, real-time isothermal amplification system designed for fluorescence-based DNA detection. The kit includes a freeze-dried enzymatic bead, an RPA reconstitution buffer, and an RPA reaction initiator. All components are stable at room temperature, simplifying logistics and enabling straightforward use across a variety of settings.
The reaction is carried out at a constant temperature of 37°C to 42°C and yields amplification results within 15 to 30 minutes. Once the bead is reconstituted with the buffer and combined with user-supplied primers, DNA template, and an exonuclease probe, the reaction is started by adding the initiator. The enzymatic bead contains recombinase, single-stranded DNA-binding proteins, strand-displacing polymerase, and exonuclease III, enabling both efficient amplification and real-time signal generation via probe cleavage.
The formulation is optimized for sensitivity, specificity, and signal clarity, providing a reliable and standardized system for DNA detection workflows that require rapid, quantifiable results.
